Today’s episode features a guest who is NOT a marketing expert. He’s an inventor.

After his first failed campaign, he knew he needed to figure out this whole Kickstarter thing. He knew he had to put in the time and learn how to market his own products.

This led him to the podcast, my site, and today’s show.

His initial email read, “I just found you on crowdcrux!!! I wish I knew about this before… I have run 2 [Kickstarter campaigns] and am about to run a third. My first was a gigantic, I mean colossal failure of epic proportions. Major newbie mistakes…Would you have any interest in talking with me about the follies I made and how it might help your readers?”

Guido put all of his knowledge to the test and was successful with his second Kickstarter campaign. He shares everything that he did differently, along with how he got journalists to write stories about him.
